TIKETIE BY HERITAGE & CULTURE

Privacy Policy

This describes how the platform handles data today. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer before you go live.

What we collect

When you book a ticket, we store:

  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • Optionally, a company name, address and any special requirements you tell us about.
  • What you bought, what you paid, and when.
  • Whether and when your ticket was scanned at the event.

We do not store your card details. Payment is handled by our payment provider, and we keep only their transaction reference and the result.

Why we hold it

To issue your ticket, to let you back into your booking if you lose the email, to admit you at the door, and to contact you if something about the event changes.

Who can see it

Platform administrators, and the organizer of the event you booked — they need an attendee list to run the door. Organizers can only see bookings for their own events. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Keeping it safe

Passwords are hashed. Payment and mail credentials are encrypted at rest. Ticket links are signed so they cannot be guessed from a booking reference, and the code inside your QR is never displayed as text.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and dispute resolution. You can ask us to remove information that we are not required to retain.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Get in touch through our contact page.
