TIKETIE BY HERITAGE & CULTURE

Legal

Terms & Conditions

These terms describe how the platform operates. Have them reviewed by a qualified lawyer before you go live.

1. Who we are

Ticketi sells tickets on behalf of event organizers and on its own behalf. Where an event is run by a third-party organizer, that organizer is responsible for the event itself; we are responsible for the ticketing.

2. Buying tickets

Tickets are held for a short period while you complete checkout. If payment is not completed within that window the hold is released and the tickets return to sale. A booking is only confirmed once we have verified payment with our payment provider — returning to the site does not by itself confirm a booking.

  • Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira and include any stated booking fee.
  • Ticket quantities per customer may be limited by the organizer.
  • Your confirmation email and booking reference are your proof of purchase.

3. Your ticket

Each ticket carries a unique QR code and admits one person once. Anyone presenting your ticket may be admitted in your place, so treat the link and the QR code as you would cash. Duplicated or already-used tickets will be refused at the door.

4. Cancellations and refunds

If an event is cancelled, we will contact you using the email address on the booking. Refunds are arranged with you directly. Booking fees may be non-refundable where stated at the time of purchase. If you simply cannot attend, refunds are at the organizer's discretion.

5. Organizers

Organizer accounts are reviewed before approval, and we may decline or suspend an account. Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for delivering the event as described, and for complying with applicable law. Platform commission and payment processing costs are deducted from ticket revenue before payout.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to interfere with the platform, resell tickets in breach of an organizer's stated conditions, or misrepresent who you are. We may cancel bookings we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The version shown here at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it.
